Program Overview

If you’d like to join medical assistant professionals already thriving in their exciting career field, then Abc University’s Online Associate of Science Degree in Medical Assisting may be right for you. PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

Our students train under the supervision of a physician or licensed practitioner, learning to take vital signs, assist in minor surgeries, administer electrocardiograms, take x-rays and perform other diverse skills. You will also learn to handle administrative duties including scheduling appointments, billing, maintaining patient records, processing insurance claims and even ordering medical supplies.

Graduates of the program are eligible to take the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam given by the American Medical Technologists (AMT).

Earn your degree at one of our ground campuses or choose the hybrid option, which combines the convenience of online learning with face-to-face classroom instruction.
