Professional Master’s in Occupational Safety and Health Program Overview
The Professional Master’s in Occupational Safety and Health (PMOSH) program at Georgia Tech is a Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) recognized Qualified Academic Program (QAP). Courses help students gain the ability to manage comprehensive safety and health programs, which includes identifying potential risks and implementing effective plans for measurable improvements. Students will develop skills to resolve real-world issues that they can begin applying immediately through practical exercises, case studies, and lab-based learning.
This master’s program is taught in a hybrid format that combines online learning with face-to-face instruction to enhance online studies. The program ends with a 12-week, team-based Complex System Capstone Project. During this time, students are guided by professional mentors to resolve real-world challenges for corporate, government, or organizational sponsors.
