Professional Master’s in Applied Systems Engineering Program Overview

The Georgia Tech Professional Master’s in Applied Systems Engineering (PMASE) includes a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum designed to help students qualify for advancing roles in engineering. The STEM and leadership-focused curriculum covers several topics, including systems engineering fundamentals, modeling and simulation, systems modeling language (SysML), and system design.

This master’s program is taught in a hybrid format that combines online learning with face-to-face instruction to enhance online studies. The program ends with a 12-week, team-based Complex System Capstone Project. During this time, students are guided by professional mentors to resolve real-world challenges for corporate, government, or organizational sponsors.

Learn to bring products to life by converting the needs of a product into effective specifications for production.

Upon completion of the PMASE program, students will be prepared to lead complex system engineering initiatives in a variety of industries. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), industrial engineers earned a median annual wage of $95,300 in 2021. This occupation is projected to grow 10% from 2021 to 2031, almost double the average growth for all occupations during that same period.
